Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday night time responded to a lawsuit filed by former Rep. George Santos, mocking the disgraced politician’s authorized motion as “preposterous.”

In his lawsuit, Santos alleged Kimmel was responsible of “deceiving” him into making the movies.

“Defendants brazenly admitted to deceiving the Plaintiff below the guise of fandom, soliciting personalised movies solely to then broadcast these on nationwide tv and throughout social media channels for industrial achieve—actions that starkly violate the unique settlement and represent clear copyright infringement,” the civil lawsuit stated.

Kimmel poked enjoyable on the ironic nature of the lawsuit throughout his Tuesday program.

“He says we deceived him below the guise of fandom soliciting personalised movies, solely to then broadcast these on nationwide tv,” Kimmel joked.
