Rock guitarist Jake E. Lee, who’s performed with heavy metallic heavyweight Ozzy Osbourne, was hospitalized early Tuesday morning after he was shot “a number of occasions” in Las Vegas, a consultant for the musician instructed CNN in a press release.
“Lee is totally acutely aware and doing properly in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital. He’s anticipated to totally get well,” the consultant mentioned.
The taking pictures occurred whereas Lee was outdoors strolling his canine and is believed to be “fully random.”
In line with a press release from the Las Vegas Metro Police Division, “officers responded to a taking pictures incident within the 11000 block of Alora Road” round 2:42 a.m. on Tuesday.
“Officers arrived and situated a male sufferer affected by obvious gunshot wounds. The male was transported to the hospital,” the assertion learn.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at the moment, police mentioned.
Lee, 67, is a veteran rock guitarist, having hung out enjoying with Osbourne within the Eighties.
Lee later based the heavy metallic group Badlands with former Black Sabbath members Ray Gillen and Eric Singer. He fashioned his personal band Purple Dragon Cartel in 2013.
