Garten, who grew up in Connecticut together with her brother Ken, stated she was “terrified” of their late father Charles Rosenberg, who was a doctor.

“I used to be bodily afraid of my dad,” she informed the publication. “I actually bear in mind pondering he would kill me if I did one thing. I used to be bodily afraid of him. And my mom simply was unsupportive.”

Garten stated she that as a toddler she would lock herself away in her room.
