The actress who discovered fame as beloved Captain Olivia Benson on the long-running drama “Regulation & Order: SVU” has assisted in fixing some real-life crimes by way of her End The Backlog efforts.

Throughout an look on “Today,” journalist Andrea Canning talked in regards to the newest episode of the “Dateline True Crime Weekly” podcast. A part of the episode is about Michigan prosecutor Kym Worthy, who had a backlog of untested rape kits and wanted funding to maneuver ahead with the assessments if there was any hope of cracking the instances.
