Daniel Day-Lewis is popping out of retirement, seven years after his final film, for a movie directed by his son Ronan Day-Lewis.
The mission was introduced Tuesday by Focus Options and Plan B, that are partnering on “Anemone.” The movie, Ronan Day-Lewis’ directorial debut, will star his father together with Sean Bean and Samantha Morton. The movie was co-written by the 2 Day-Lewises.
Earlier Tuesday, Daniel Day-Lewis and Bean have been noticed driving a motorcycle by way of Manchester, England, stoking intrigue about his impending return to performing. After making Paul Thomas Anderson’s 2017 movie “Phantom Thread,” the 67-year-old had stated he was quitting performing.
