Washington Post executive editor Sally Buzbee steps down

Sally Buzbee, the chief editor of The Washington Submit, is stepping down from her position after main the newspaper for 3 tumultuous years, the newspaper introduced late Sunday.

“Sally is an unimaginable chief and a supremely gifted media govt who might be sorely missed. I want her all the most effective going ahead,” William Lewis, chief govt and writer of The Washington Submit stated in a statement.

Buzbee might be instantly changed by Matt Murray, former editor in chief of The Wall Road Journal, till the November election.

At the moment, Robert Winnett, deputy editor of The Telegraph Media Group, will take over as editor of the newspaper’s core protection areas. Murray will then oversee a separate “third newsroom” devoted to service and social media journalism.
