A Secret Service agent assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris’ element was faraway from their project after displaying habits that colleagues discovered “distressing,” the company stated.
The incident occurred about 9 a.m. ET Monday at Joint Base Andrews, the company stated, forward of a deliberate go to by the vp to Wisconsin.
Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi stated in an announcement that the agent started “displaying habits their colleagues discovered distressing.” The assertion didn’t make clear what that habits entailed.
“The agent was faraway from their project whereas medical personnel have been summoned,” Guglielmi stated. Harris was on the Naval Observatory through the incident and there “was no affect on her departure” from the bottom.
“The U.S. Secret Service takes the security and well being of our workers very significantly,” Guglielmi stated. “As this was a medical matter, we is not going to disclose any additional particulars.”
