Sofia Vergara says that her Colombian accent hasn’t at all times allowed her to land roles she’s needed.
Vergara, who’s at the moment starring as Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco in Netflix’s “Griselda,” has deliberately sought characters the place her accent is an asset.
“I’m at all times on the lookout for characters as a result of there’s not a lot that I can play with this silly accent,” she told The Los Angeles Instances. “I can’t play a scientist or be in ‘Schindler’s Listing.’ My performing jobs are form of restricted.”
