Linkedin was again on-line Wednesday after tens of 1000’s of customers reported outages on the skilled networking website, in accordance with outage tracker Downdetector. The outage lasted about an hour, according to LinkedIn’s status page.
LinkedIn confirmed the outage on X, saying its groups have been working to resolve the difficulty.
Customers attempting to entry the Microsoft-owned platform have been greeted with an error web page on the web site.
“We appear to have encountered an error,” the web page mentioned.
On the app, the web page mentioned LinkedIn is “having points loading this web page.”
At about 4 pm ET, as many as 44,000 customers self-reported outages. Nevertheless, experiences dropped to about 25,000 by 4:35 pm ET, and a LinkedIn consultant confirmed the positioning was again up.
Downdetector solely measures self-reported outages, and will not absolutely present the extent of the outages.
The problems at LinkedIn come a day after widespread outages at another social media platform, Meta. For 2 hours, Fb and Instagram, went down for 1000’s of customers on Tuesday due to what the corporate referred to as a “technical concern.”
As many as 500,000 Fb customers had reported points logging in or accessing the positioning as of mid-morning Japanese Time on Tuesday, in accordance with Downdetector.
